Airports are public service facilities with regulations regarding safety, security, and operational standards. Various equipment is used in airport operations to meet these standards. These equipment are continually developed to improve efficiency, such as the addition of automatic control systems. These systems regulate equipment operation, rest periods, and provide alerts for malfunctions. At Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, the wastewater distribution equipment is equipped with an automatic control system using electronic devices like a programmable logic controller (PLC).
